The Daughters of Divine Zeal of the heart of Jesus have a special goal. It is to enter the Holy Side of Jesus, to live within this divine Heart, to experience its love, to adopt its interests, to bear with all its pains and to share in its sacrifice. The goal of the Daughters of Divine Zeal is to console this Divine Heart through their own sanctification, and to win people's souls for God especially by obeying that divine command that rose from the depths of Jesus' Heart when he said: "The harvest is great but the workers are few. Pray the Lord of the harvest to send good workers to his harvest." They will do all this with the spirit of Martha and Mary, that is, with a life characterised by prayer and activity. We are women who have experienced the allure of Christ's gaze and have followed him in keeping with the Gospel Rogate:

Jesus went around all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the good news of the Kingdom, and he cured every sickness and disease. When he saw the crowds he was moved with pity, for they were harassed and helpless like sheep without a shepherd.

Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few; pray therefore to the Lord of the harvest to send workers into his harvest." (Mt 9:35-38)

We are the voice within the Church that continues with the prayer of Jesus to his Father to send holy priests and apostles, men and women to fashion a new humanity.

We are "the harvest workers" who, like Jesus, while meeting the needs of those around us, cast our gaze over the whole of humanity and pray that no one will be deprived of the joy of the Gospel.

In keeping with Fr Annibale's teaching the Gospel image that bests sums up our vocation is Jesus' meeting with Martha and her sister Mary. It is to be disciples of the Lord, active in prayer and pray-ers in activity, in our apostolic life.
